4-1/2″ Diameter Aluminum Faceplate – 1-1/4″ X 8 TPI

This precision CNC-machined faceplate is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding wood turner. It’s crafted from solid aluminum, ensuring it will never rust or transfer stains when turning green wood. With a lower profile of just 1/2” thick, this faceplate keeps your work closer to the headstock bearing, minimizing vibration and ensuring a smoother turning experience. The plate features 8 large countersunk screw holes that can accommodate #14 screws for maximum holding power, securely mounting your projects and preventing slippage.

For easy removal, the plate includes a 5/16” spanner hole and a spindle washer that allows you to remove the chuck from the lathe with ease. The hub is laser-etched with the thread size, making it easy to identify and preventing any confusion during setup. In addition, the set screws allow you to run the lathe in reverse, perfect for sanding and other specialized applications. (Note: 1″x 8 TPI x 2″ Faceplate is excluded from this feature.)
